Exploration and Thinking on the Marketization Application of “Chinese+” Models in African Vocational Education 非洲职业教育“中文+”模式的市场化应用探索与思考

Abstract

Under the background of the grand blueprint for African development, this study deeply analyzes two “Chinese+” models and explores the potential in the marketization process. These two models are originated from China’s MCT Test and Japan’s Medical Translation Skill Test. The former adopts the framework of “Chinese+X (X=professional field)”, while the latter is further expanded into a composite model of “Chinese+X+Y (X=professional field; Y=vocational field)”. Based on these two models, vocational Chinese education in Africa can build a comprehensive vocational education system that integrates learning, practical training, certification, and industry in key fields such as tourism, commerce, and engineering. This system can fully release the potential value of linguistic and cultural resources in social and economic development. In the future, the construction of vocational Chinese education system should be gradually promoted based on the actual situation of various African countries and regions, achieving deep integration of education and industry.
